Looking for signs of the new

I have become a tracker, looking for signs of "the new." I am very much "of the old", struggling to identify bridges to the new, and here are some realizations just coming to me. Signs of the new?

1. Lack of instructions, or - if they are there - it's the last things people turn to. There ian expectation of intuitively know how to do something new, especially in the technical world.

2.Community is being built in a Facebook kind of way: snippets of likes and dislikes, interests and non-interests, nothing approaching "permanent" as yet coming together...if it ever will and I am doubting that as I write this. I believe the moving and shifting will go on for a very long time, certainly beyond the span of my years.

3. The word "google" has bcome a verb as well as a noun and it means the source of all knowledge. It is where and how you search out what you need and what you need to know. This is an interesting development, eliminating the need for previously assumed sources of knowedge: books being the most important.

Anyone reading this have any more "signs of the new?" If your answer is longer than the 160 characters you can post here, send it to me by email and I will post it with your name.

Edith is our mentor and prophet for the times she knows we are trying to let go, be freed from whatever impedes growth, goodness and giving!

And here we are manifesting to each other and the universe! Your poem is soulful, Gina, dealing with the unknowns of each day as they come. Thanks for sharing.
