Margarita Synnott's(Dublin) response to Wholemaking

Since comments are restricted to 160 characters, Margarita sent me this, which I will post here:

Hi Brenda
160 characters!  To use so few would be a disservice to what you write and to Delio's work.  My response is both yes and no.  Yes, I know that Catholic Ireland and world of which you speak, I have lived in it and yet I was raised to appreciate the value of well thought out dissent.   However, some parts of the church are moving from the auto-referential world of the past, the theological narcissism which pervaded and which is still so evident in Rome and elsewhere.
Of late I have been moving to a place where I can say "This is the day", just today, I will live it as best I can within all the confines within which I find myself, personally, socially, theologically and ecclesial.
160 won't do it!
Much love
Yes, Margarita...I concur...and you remind me that I want to explore the actual guidelines for a dissenting conscience, which exist in a formal document. Meanwhile, I rather my days be like yours: "This is the day...whatever is today, is what it is...on all the levels you name.

Edith is our mentor and prophet for the times she knows we are trying to let go, be freed from whatever impedes growth, goodness and giving!

And here we are manifesting to each other and the universe! Your poem is soulful, Gina, dealing with the unknowns of each day as they come. Thanks for sharing.
