I listen to talks while driving...Pema Chodron, David Whyte, Bruce Lipton, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Jack Kornfield, Angie Arrien...and Carolyn Myss. The radio repetition-patter becomes too boring very quickly.
Many people tell me that they cannot
listen to Carolyn Myss. She is too harsh, too uncompromising, too in-your-face, etc. She grates on them. I marvel at this, but usually don't say anything. I find her fascinating: uncompromising, direct, truth-telling. My heart resonates with her words, even
as I laugh out loud at her tone, at her absoluteness.
The set of six talks I am listening to in the car right now is "What Makes Us Healthy." I have never heard such a summary in simple, practical, historical terms of the evolution of awareness
as we are living it today, nor of the explanation of how everyone living today is actually an addict. How daring, how bold!! And yet - in her explaining - how true. More truth in all her words than can be accounted for...take a listen...she has numerous sets
of talks and they are all wise, with a wisdom that many cannot see through...let them shatter your heart into new light...
