I have come to believe that many of the world's troubles are due to a lack of being faithful to your own inner heart, trusting instead in whatever you have been conditioned to believe. This is shifting now, and chaos will definitely ensue, but a better
world will come, though I won't see it.
I would be emphatic about not following any advice just because of "credentials" if it doesn't resonate with your own knowing. Andrew Harvey quotes Dorothy Walters, a contemporary mystical poet (Marrow of Flame), words she wrote to him when he decided to part from his long time spiritual teacher: "Remain true to yourself whatever happens and never give in to any of the terrible pressure your actions and insights will inevitably
arouse."
I have always felt an echo of this, even from an early age, but I did not often have the courage to stand in that truth. At 66, I am as ready as I will ever be, and small acts of fidelity to my own inner heart have been growing as I age.I believe
they are about to get louder and more frequent. Saty tuned!
